So far as of this mornings weigh in i have gone from 205 to 196.4, and my blood sugars have dropped from 174 to 113. I will have to admit that last week I had a doctors appointment and Iwas finally placed on Metformin for my diabetes so i am sure that the exercise is not completely responsible for the drastic drop in my blood sugars.
All in all though I am quite pleased with my progress or as they say in Canada progress.
I have been working out on an elliptical for 30 minutes a day and doing circuit training on Nautilus machines every other day. Additionally I have tried to get out and work in my yard as much as possible.
One other tool i have been using is an application on my phone called "Lose It." This application allows me to enter in a starting weight, target weight and how many pounds I want to lose in a week and then it tells me how many calories i can eat a day to get to that weight. It also allows me to enter in my calories consumed and exercise performed. The application also has a library of a lot of foods and their caloric values as well as letting me create my own foods.
As for the stress I have at work, the OxyElitePro seems to be helping quite a bit with that. My mood has been so stable some people in my office wonder if i am actually grouchy. Normally I am walking down the halls singing and joking but lately I just kinda go with the flow. I also don't get as frustrated as I used to with the stupidity of my "Clients" that I supervise. I guess that is plus in and of itself as well.
Although, I am confident I will lose the 20 in 60 right now, my only hope is that I can continue after I lose it to keep it off and possible lose a little more.
My only worry at this point is that I have no idea how I will get to Dallas for the game. unless the State of California returns my pay as they have been ordered to by a judge I'll just have to watch the games on TV.
Well that's week one and I will continue to keep the updates coming in the future.
